Oak Frame Training Forum

The Oak Frame Training Forum is a body which has been formed by The Carpenters’ Fellowship with the help of government funding via Construction Skills (until recently called the Construction Industry Training Board, or CITB).


Its aim is to cater for the needs of the oak frame industry and those employed within the industry in the following ways :

  1. BulletTo provide skills training in oak framing and its associated trades and activities.

  2. BulletTo provide routes to qualification for those employed within the industry.

  3. BulletTo provide assistance and support to our members in regard to their training and H&S requirements.

  4. BulletTo organise building projects that will benefit communities and charitable causes.

  5. BulletTo organise events with lectures, workshops and seminars and to bring together those involved, directly or indirectly, with oak framing

  6. BulletTo showcase this form of construction and bring to the attention of the wider construction industry and the public the skills and professionalism found within this sector.
